The flow hood vent test is used to measure, to diagnose, and to demonstrate air leakage problems in the duct system and air balancing defined.
The Importance of Having This Test In its simplest form, air balancing is the process of testing and adjusting your air conditioning and heating system to deliver the right amount of air to each room in your home. The actual air balancing process includes a number of related tests that determine the performance of your air conditioning and heating system. At LgO Services in San Antonio, TX, we use this test as part of a full air balancing process.
Testing Procedures
Air balancing Hoods are used to measure the amount of air at each grille. Manometers measure system static pressures, hygrometers measure system temperature and humidity, and the results of all these tests are compiled into a report to determine how well your system is functioning.
What We Provide
LgO will inspect the duct system in order to identify possible leaks. A report is provided to the customer with the inspection results and recommendations. Repairs are made by the customer using a contractor of their choice.
